My name's George Marshall and I'm a serial entrepreneur.

There. I've said it.

I'm 45 years old (can't believe I've said that too) and I currently live in the Scottish Borders with my amazing wife, two fantastic children, and our dog who also happens to be called George.

I have an MA in Social Sciences from the University Of Glasgow where I studied Economics and Psychology among other things. I've never used my degree to gain employment because I've never actually worked for anyone else (except when I did a paper round as a kid and stacked shelves at Tesco as a student).

Since before leaving school, I have been working from home, running a variety of mail order based businesses.

About eight years ago now, we decided as a family to move to Spain. We had always wanted to live abroad and giving my two children the gift of a second (and as it turned out third) language was too good an opportunity to miss.

I'm something of a hoarder and spent the best part of a year selling things on eBay to give us enough money to live in Spain for a year without having to sell our home in Scotland.

Running a mail order business from Spain when all of your customers are in the UK wasn't going to be viable - the postage costs alone made it a non-starter. If we were to stay there beyond that first year, I had to make money, but had no intention of breaking a habit of a lifetime by getting a job.

Instead I threw myself into learning everything I could about making money online.

I won't pretend it was easy to begin with. I'm certainly no computer geek and even today couldn't even tell you what type of PC I own. It just doesn't interest me. That first year we lived a fairly spartan lifestyle, living in a third floor flat when we had left behind a very spacious five bedroom barn conversion with a hallway we played football in (seriously).

But fast forward to today and I'm now making serious money. Not only have I learned how to make money online, I've worked out a system that means I work far fewer hours than I've ever done before.

More money, less hours. How does that sound? I call it Plan B and it's a plan I want to share with you in my book, Get Out While You Can.
